COLONEL SANDERS SECRET FRIED CHICKEN 

RECIPESECRET 11 HERBS & SPICES

2 cups all-purpose flour

2/3 tablespoon salt

1/2 tablespoon dried thyme leaves

1/2 tablespoon dried basil leaves

1/3 tablespoon dried oregano leaves

1 tablespoon celery salt

1 tablespoon ground black pepper

1 tablespoon dried mustard

4 tablespoons paprika

2 tablespoons garlic salt

1  tablespoon ground ginger

3 tablespoons ground white pepper

1 cup Buttermilk

1 Egg, beaten

1 Chicken, cut up, the breast pieces cut in half for more even frying

Canola oil

1)  Mix the flour in a bowl with all the herbs and spices; set aside.

2)  Mix the buttermilk and egg together in a separate bowl until combined. Soak the chicken in the buttermilk mixture at room temperature, 20-30 minutes.

3)  Remove chicken from the buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off. Dip the chicken pieces in the herb-spice-flour mixture to coat all sides, shaking off excess. Allow to sit on a rack over a baking sheet, 20 minutes.

4)  Meanwhile, heat about 3 inches of the oil in a large Dutch oven (or similar heavy pot with high sides) over medium-high heat to 350 degrees. (Use a deep-frying thermometer to check the temperature.) When temperature is reached, lower the heat to medium to maintain it at 350. Fry 3 or 4 pieces at a time, being careful not to crowd the pot. Fry until medium golden brown, turning once, 15-18 minutes. Transfer chicken pieces to a baking sheet covered with paper towels. Allow the oil to return to temperature before adding more chicken. Repeat with remaining chicken.

During his Media Day press conference on Friday, Stephen Curry stated clearly that he did not want his NBA championship Warriors to celebrate with a visit to the White House.

Curry said any decision would be made as a team, but he would vote “no” in order to make a statement about the direction Trump is leading the country. Before getting to the bigger reason for wanting to steer clear of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Curry said, outright: “I don’t want to go.”

The reaction was immediate, horrified and not at all complimentary. As America woke to the news that Donald Trump had dispatched his eldest daughter, Ivanka, to fill in for him at a G20 meeting with world leaders, the response of people ran from outraged to stunned, and then back to outraged. “Why the hell is Ivanka Trump sitting in for daddy at G20 meetings?! What are her qualifications? Who voted for her?” the writer Charles Blow said on Twitter.

   

  The outcry was sparked after a Russian official, Svetlana Lukash, posted an image of Ms Trump – later apparently deleted – sitting at a table of world leaders alongside British Prime Minister Theresa May and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

“2nd day of #G20 Hamburg summit starts with Africa, Migration & Health. Ivanka accompanies Pres Trump,” wrote Ms Lukash. “And replaces Pres Trump at the #G20 table as he leaves for bilateral meetings.”

 

 

Ivanka was sitting in the back and then briefly joined the main table when the president had to step out,” a White House official said in response to the photo.

The White House said the topic under discussion related to Ivanka's advocacy role on a women's economic development initiative with the World Bank, according to reports.

President Trump shared a video Sunday on Twitter of himself slamming WWE President Vince McMahon to the ground and punching him, with the CNN logo superimposed over McMahon’s head, escalating his recent attacks aimed at the news media.

The footage, taken from “WrestleMania 23” in 2007, shows Trump approaching McMahon outside of the ring, using a clothesline move to knock him down and punching him in the head before turning to walk away. The altered clip mocking CNN recently appeared on a Reddit.com message board.

The president’s tweet included a pair of disparaging hashtags: “#FraudNewsCNN” and “#FNN.”

 

 

“It is a sad day when the president of the United States encourages violence against reporters,” the network said in a statement. “Clearly, [White House press secretary] Sarah Huckabee Sanders lied when she said the president had never done so.”

The network added: “Instead of preparing for his overseas trip, his first meeting with Vladimir Putin, ‎dealing with North Korea and working on his health care bill, he is involved in juvenile behavior far below the dignity of his office. We will keep doing our jobs. He should start doing his.”

Trump’s latest Twitter assault comes three days after his controversial tweets attacking MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski’s appearance.

On Thursday, the president lashed out at Brzezinski with an unusually harsh personal attack aimed at both her and her co-host, Joe Scarborough.

“I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don’t watch anymore),” Trump wrote on Twitter. “Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year’s Eve, and insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!”
